Here is our schedule for the endless summer of 2024!
Our signature dual certification NAUI Open Water & Enriched Air Classes: Please note that unless stated otherwise, each certification class is 5 days in total taking place on Wed & Thurs evenings from 6:00 - 9:00, that following weekend on Sat and Sun (pretty full days), and wrapping up on that following Wed from 6:30 - 7:30. For example, the class below starting on April 24th takes place that Wed & Thurs the 25th from 6:00 - 9:00 PM (pool sessions), that weekend on the 27th from 9:00 - 2:00 at Lake Denton, and the 28th from 8:00 - 12:00 (boat dives).
Here are the start dates for each month:
April 24th, May 15th, June 19th, August 21st, Sept. 25th, Nov. 6th
In addition, we have a series of amazing dives for you certified divers! These are all instructor (me) led dives, and they count towards your NAUI Advanced Open Water Certification! The price includes 2 tanks. A set of SCUBA gear can be rented through me for an additional $59.00, plus and additional $25 if a computer is needed. Here is the schedule:
2 tank dive at Blue Grotto Caverns! Depth= 50ft, Date: Feb 10th, Time: 9:00 - 12:00, Cost: $129
2 tank boat dives on the Venice Army Tanks NIGHT DIVE: Depth: 90', Date: Oct. 19th, Time: 5:00 - 7:30 PM, Cost: $229
2 tank wreck dives on the Bayronto Shipwreck: Depth: 100', Date: July 27th, Time: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Cost: $279
East Coast Adventure Package!: This is a weekend consisting of 4 adventurous dives, all counting towards advanced open water! On Saturday evening we do 2 night dives beginning around 6:00 PM. Then everyone gets a good night sleep at the Sands Harbor Resort, which is conveniently located where the dive boat operates. Then on Sunday morning we dive the amazing Lady Luck Shipwreck followed by an adventurous drift dive! Dates: March: Saturday the 9th & Sunday the 10th; Dec: Saturday the 7th & Sunday the 8th, Cost: $799, which includes the hotel stay; $499 for each additional diver sharing a room
Dive Site Descriptions:
Shark tooth dive in Venice: Venice has become one of the world's premiere destinations for underwater artifact hunting, including Megalodon teeth, all kinds of shark teeth, and even fossilized bone!! These are shallow dives around 20 ft, making it a great depth for newer divers.
Venice Army Tanks: This dive consist of a 2 tank , 4hr trip diving in 60ft of water. There are 4 army tanks and the potential viewing of Goliath groupers, turtles, stingrays, snappers, Amberjacks and many other marine life. The second site is an 85 to 100 ft sunken barge with all the same potential marine life.
Night Dives: Have you ventured out in a familiar area at night and realized how much different it feels than during the day? Well, diving is the same! Different sea life comes out at night time offering a much different and very unique experience!
Bayronto Shipwreck: This magnificent ship wreck sits at 100 feet, is 400' long, 50' wide, and was sunk due to a hurricane in 1919!
Lady Luck Shipwreck: This massive shipwreck is a jem that sits in 120' and has many amazing swim throughs and neat marine life!
*The Open Water certification max depth of 60 ft is waived because these are instructor led dives.
**Please note that while we always schedule for the stated dive sites, it is ultimately the captain's call, which may be subject to change due to weather and/or marine conditions.
